Call Box Image
This system consists of 2,750 push-button type motorist aid call boxes installed along Florida's Interstate Highways and Florida's Turnpike. The push-button call box sends a predetermined message based on the button pushed, with assistance choices available for medical, service, or police.

The following data is compiled from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. The data provides a detailed report of the number of calls responded to by the FHP as a result of the activation of a roadside Motorist Aid System Call Box. The data shown here is a summary of the FHP data that demonstrates the usage of the system in total and by major highway.
