About the Task Force
The Southeast Task Force for Technician Training and Qualification was created by SASHTO's Regional Quality Workshop for Materials and Construction steering committee. The purpose of this task force is to build reciprocity relationships and to develop avenues to share information that will help develop individual state programs.

History
The Southeast Task Force for Technician Training and Qualification (SETFTTQ) was formed as a task force at the SASHTO Quality Workshop for Materials and Construction in 1999. The group first met in November 1999 to review developments in technician qualifications in the Southeastern States and to initiate the development of a framework and future direction for the group.
Purpose
Build commonality relationships between the Southeastern States.
Create avenues to share information to assist the development of individual State's training and qualification programs.
