Overview
Materials Manual Section 8.5 provides guidelines to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) personnel who are involved in the review and acceptance of Precast Prestressed Concrete Plant Certification Agency (Agency) programs. The implementation of these guidelines ensure that acceptable certification programs are used by qualified Agencies to certify the Precast Prestressed Concrete Plants that manufacture products for Department projects. The FDOT State Materials Office performs the review and verification of the applicant Agency Plant certification program.
