Material/Producer Listing
Sample Certification Forms Sorted By Specification Number
This web page contains a listing of those materials that are
entered into the Laboratory Information Management System. By
selecting a Material ID Number, you will be able to view an
example of a certification form.
Qualified Products Listing
The State Specification's Product Evaluation Office is the initial
point of contact for manufactured products being introduced to the
Department. This office also maintains the Qualified Products
List.
Approved Products Listing
The Traffic Operations Office has the responsibility of certifying
(pre-approving) all Official Traffic Control Signal Devices (and
related ancillary equipment or materials) used during the
construction and/or maintenance of a signalized intersection. On
the Approved Product List (or APL) is where this pre-approved
equipment is kept. The APL also includes Traffic Monitoring
Equipment (count, speed, classification, etc. equipment).

Materials Manual
The Materials Manual (MM) contains the instructions needed to complete
the Quality Assurance and Materials Acceptance portion of
Department of Transportation contracts. It is designed to give
details to Department representatives for administering items
mandated in Florida Statutes, Rules and/or Contract Specifications
and the successful completion of road and bridge contracts. This
Manual ensures consistency in carrying out Department policies to
ensure that the quality of all materials and workmanship used in
the completion of construction contracts are evaluated on a fair
and equal basis.
