Q1: After a login is completed and I proceed to the receipt screen without making a note of the sample ID number, is there a way to retrieve this number using the receipt screen?
A1: If the sample is ready to be received by your lab, it will appear on the LIMS Sample Id drop down list. By clicking on the arrow, the LIMS Sample Id will be on the list. If you can remember some features from the sample, you might be able to narrow it down. If you can’t find it this way, you can use the status screen “Sample Status by Logger Id” and enter the logger’s Id and a beginning and ending date (you need these!). LIMS will return all the samples logged in by that logger between those dates. You might be able to find the missing LIMS sample Id on this screen.
