Q1: What do the messages in the "Trained?" field mean?
A1: This is where LIMS records the Personnel and Laboratory Qualification check. There are four possible scenarios. Here are the messages you will see for each scenario:
1. Trained – Lab and Tech are OK.
2. Not Trained – Lab is OK, but Tech is not
3. No Lab Cert – Tech is OK, but Lab is not
4. No Cert – Both Lab and Tech are not OK
Q2: When I kill test from a sample, can I only kill one at a time?
A2: Yes, you can only kill tests off a sample one at a time. Also, you should never kill all the tests off a sample. This causes LIMS to misplace the sample out of the Result Entry stage.
