Training Information


Construction

Construction Training -The Department's Construction Training Qualification Program is administered through the State Construction Training Office.

LIMS

LIMS Training - The Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is a data management computer program which is used to report the sampling, testing and business decisions related to the Florida Department of Transportation's Quality Assurance Program. In an effort to provide optional training methods for the LIMS program, the State Materials Office has initiated online computer-based training.

Structural

Structural Personnel Training/Certifications - The Department's standard specifications and related sections of the Materials Manual require quality control and quality assurance personnel who are involved in the testing and inspection of specified structures to have required training and qualifications.

Technician

SETFTTQ - The Southeast Task Force for Technician Training and Qualification (SETFTTQ) was created by SASHTO's Regional Quality Workshop for Materials and Construction steering committee. The purpose of this task force is to build reciprocity relationships and to develop avenues to share information that will help develop individual state programs.
