What We Do

The Product Evaluation Section is the initial point of contact for those seeking to introduce manufactured products to the Department, and to provide guidance on the appropriate process to follow for further action. The Product Evaluation Section is most widely known for maintaining the Qualified Products List (QPL), a published list of products that have been evaluated against implemented FDOT Specifications and Standards, and found to have met those Standards. This Section also functions in the area of New Product Review, as an initial point of contact for the introduction of new products, materials and technologies
