Bicycle Touring Information Roads Bicycle travel on Interstate highways and other "limited access facilities" (roads with no driveway connections to provide access to adjacent properties) is generally prohibited in Florida as explained in more detail at this link. Bicycle lanes, 4-foot shoulder pavement or wide outside lanes are present on approximately two thirds of the centerline-miles of the state highway system that are open to bicycles. |
