Safety Publications

The Safety Office produces a variety of safety publications and reports that may be of interest to other FDOT employees.  These documents, newsletters, and reports are made available on the INFONET for easy electronic access for all FDOT employees.

Transportation Safety Engineering Publications

The Transportation Safety Engineering section provides various user manuals and reports which pertain to the traffic crash database and crash data analysis.

Industrial Safety

Publications currently available online include:  The Safety Advisor, the Loss Prevention Manual, links to various safety forms, procedures and policies, Maintenance of Traffic materials, safety video and DVD listing, Quality Assurance Checklist, and the Emergency Action Plan for the Magnolia II Building. Community Traffic Safety Teams

The Community Traffic Safety Team (CTST) Coalition meets on a quarterly basis, and the minutes of the most recent meeting of the CTST Coalition are posted for review.  Questions regarding the CTST Coalition can be directed to Ralph Salvas, FDOT Liaison to the CTST Coalition, via email or at 850-245-1526.
