The Office of Right of Way has a primary mission of acquiring the real property necessary for the construction of transportation facilities. In addition to our primary mission, the Office of Right of Way is also charged with the control of outdoor advertising signs along state highways and management of the Logo sign program along our interstate highways.

Outdoor Advertising - Rule Development Begins for Chapter 14-10 Florida Administrative Code:

The Department held a rule development workshop to receive input on revising Chapter 14-10, Florida Administrative Code. An audio recording (mp3 format) of the workshop is available.

Please Note: The Department will continue to accept comments and suggestions on the development of Chapter 14-10 Florida Administrative Code until the close of business Friday, October 10, 2014.

Outdoor Advertising - Revisions to Chapter 479, Florida Statutes

Governor Rick Scott signed HB 1161 into law on June 20, 2014. The bill provides comprehensive revisions to Chapter 479, Florida Statutes and becomes law effective on July 1, 2014. For the full text of the statute and changes, please visit:
