The Resource Management section is responsible for compiling and publishing the District and Statewide Right of Way production plans and expenditure forecasts for each fiscal year. The production plan outlines the number of parcels the Districts intend to acquire and the number of projects each District plans to certify for construction. The expenditure forecast provides an estimate of funds required for the acquisition of real estate for each Right of Way project. The Resource Management section publishes monthly reports indicating the level of actual expenditures for each District and Statewide.

The Resource Management section is also responsible for assisting the District Right of Way Offices in developing and managing the Right of Way portion of the Department's Work Program. The Department's Work Program is the plan for financing the Department's projects and establishes the annual budget request for projects.
