Design Standards
  2008

Online access to Design Standards is provided for the purpose of on screen observation and print reproduction effective on all English and Metric jobs beginning with the July letting. They are in Adobe format. Revisions made by Modifications or Interim Standards are not included.  These Standards may be purchased online in paper form by placing an order online at our Maps and Publications On-Line Store.  The default print size is 8.5 x 11, however to print standard plan size sheets, select 11x17 on the Page Set-up option. Typical file sizes are between 72kb to 9791kb, with most being under 500k. Entire groups may be printed by selecting the group name when shown as a link.

Bentley’s Microstation design file format is NOT available for distribution.  However, those for Structures drawings (e.g. Bridge Components, overhead sign structures, proprietary retaining wall systems etc) are available at the Structures Design Office Website.

Note that approved proprietary items are listed on the Qualified Products List and the Approved Product List and are NOT shown in these Design Standards.  Design Standards Procedure (Topic #  625-010-003-g.) is available.

For questions, please email John Mauthner, PE.
