Our functional Areas include the following:


Roadway Design - Bicycles and Pedestrians, Lighting, Maintenance of Traffic, Pavement Management, Signalization and ITS, Signing and Pavement Marking and Quality Assurance and Engineering Support.


Pavement Management - PCS Ride Rankings, National Pavement Rankings, Pavement Condition forecasts, Rubblization projects and Pavement publications.


Hydraulic Design - Hydrology, Hydraulics, Pipe Materials Selection, Bridge Scour, Coastal Engineering, Stormwater Management, Erosion and Sediment Control

We also maintain numerous handbooks and manuals such as the Florida Greenbook, Intersection Design Guide, Plans Preparation Manual, Drainage Manual, Design Standards and other similar manuals to support criteria and standards throughout the State of Florida.
