High Speed Intercity Passenger Rail (HSIPR) application -- August 2010

 

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) announced on July 1, 2010, the availability of $2.25 billion in Federal appropriations for the High Speed Intercity Passenger Rail (HSIPR) program. $2.125 billion of that amount is available for Service Development Programs. Applications were due August 6, 2010. Below is the information submitted by the Department seeking approximately $250 million in HSIPR funds to reintroduce passenger rail service to Florida's east coast between Jacksonville and Miami.
