I-75: From north of River Road to SR 681

This project consists of widening I-75 from four to six lanes, construction of new southbound bridges over Cow Pen Slough and Salt Creek and interchange improvements at Laurel Road, Jacaranda Boulevard and River Road.
Project start date: May 2010

Contractor is Astaldi Construction Corporation

US 301: From Myrtle Street to DeSoto Road

This project consists of new roadway construction, milling and resurfacing the roadway, highway lighting, signalization, guardrail installation, sidewalk construction and signing and pavement markings.

SR 72: At the Myakka River

This project consists of replacing the existing bridge over the Myakka River with a new bridge.
