    • Public Bike Sharing in North America: Early Operator and Use Understanding - This study evaluates public bikesharing in North America, reviewing the advances in technology and major events during its rapid expansion.
    • Amenity or Necessity? Street Standards as Parking Policy - This paper explores the rationales underlying the use of minimum street width requirements to mandate street parking.
    • Advancing High-Speed Rail Policy in the United States - This report builds on a review of international experience with high-speed rail projects to develop recommendations for a High-speed rail policy framework for the United States.
    • Collaborative Funding to Facilitate Airport Ground Access - This report reviews the recent literature on funding airport ground access projects and current federal transportation funding programs relevant to airport ground access projects; provides case studies of seven selected airport ground access projects; identifies potential funding strategies for intermodal airport ground access projects, requirements for effective implementation of these strategies, and a recommended approach to facilitate successful project development and implementation; and presents recommended changes to transportation funding program rules and regulations.
  2. PIARC Reports (Registration/Signing required)
    • Monitoring of environmental impacts of roads - This report analyses the results of a survey of current environmental monitoring practice among different countries and of a literature search. Case studies illustrate best practice and show how monitoring can be a useful tool for the design and operation of a road infrastructure as well as for the mitigation of negative impacts on the environment. The report presents a series of environmental indicators currently in use at national and international levels and makes recommendations for effective monitoring.
    • The connected vehicle - This report provides an analysis of the issues arising from the development of the connected vehicle from different business perspectives, considers the issues from a public policy perspective, explores in greater depth the issues associated with the deployment of co-operative systems, and offers some pointers on the way forward, in particular regarding the required close relationships between all sides of industry and public authorities.
