The Florida Department of Transportation plays an important role in reviewing the impacts of new developments. Site Impact Analysis is the work performed by the Department to estimate traffic-related impacts of a development proposal. Future developments' traffic impacts to the surrounding roadway system are a key component to establishing plans for future transportation system improvements.
