Transportation Statistics Office
TranStat / Organization
TranStat Organization
The Transportation Statistics Office (TranStat) is one of the Department of
Transportation's Planning offices. It supports the other Planning Offices, and the rest of the
Department, by maintaining a variety of highway and traffic data, and by analyzing and supplying the
data as needed.
TranStat has five sections: Traffic Data, Highway Data and QA/QC, Data Analysis & Reporting, System
Support, and Administrative. These sections work together and with counterparts in the FDOT Districts to
maintain high quality data. We also coordinate closely with the other Planning Offices, other offices in
the Department, the Florida Division Office of the Federal Highway Administration, and other agencies
and organizations.
