About
This draft plan for improving Florida's transportation system is probably unlike any transportation plan you have seen before: it proposes a new way of
thinking about the transportation needs of Florida's residents, businesses and visitors, and a new approach to meeting those needs more effectively and efficiently.
We encourage you to review this plan and tell us what you think. It is also being reviewed by decision makers in the Department and in our partner organizations
at the same time. They, too, may have comments on how the plan can be improved. As changes are made to the plan to reflect your comments and theirs, we will post
them here. We will use strike-through and underlining, so you will be able to spot the revisions easily.
This plan will affect you in the future. We strongly encourage you to review all of its components, participate in refining them, and commit to helping make
Florida an even better place to live, work and play. All comments need to be received by November 30, 2004, so we will have enough time to get it ready for
adoption by the end of December 2004.
