Partner and public input in the ongoing planning and designation of Florida's Strategic Intermodal System is welcomed and encouraged. Please use the information and contacts included on the right and on other SIS web pages to provide your input.
Current / Ongoing Opportunities for Partner & Public Involvement
- 2010 Strategic Intermodal System Strategic Plan Update: Partner and Public Involvement Process - Evaluation Report - An evaluation of the Partner and Public Involvement (PPI) process during the 2010 Strategic Intermodal System Strategic Plan Update.
- Draft SIS Implementation Guidance for Changes to Designation Criteria and Thresholds - This report identifies and documents proposed changes in designation criteria and related implementation guidance called for in the 2010 SIS Strategic Plan.
- FDOT SIS Contacts: FDOT has a SIS Contact in each of its geographic districts, the Turnpike Enterprise, and for each mode and other specific offices in Tallahassee.
- FDOT email subscription service, "TranPlan News", is being used to send SIS news, including additions to the SIS web site, documents available for review, and formation and meetings of SIS work groups. This news service is also used to send information about other Florida transportation issues. Email notices are kept relatively short, with descriptive subject lines that allow you to quickly determine if the topic is SIS-related or otherwise of interest to you. You can go to the TranPlan News Subscription Page to subscribe. The service is free and you can unsubscribe at any time.
