2010 Systemwide Data and Designation Review

The 2010 SIS Systemwide Data and Designation Review ("2010 DR") is the 2nd statewide review of SIS data and designations since the SIS was created. Although only the 2nd published statewide review, which is required annually, facilities with SIS funds programmed for right-of-way or construction phases in the 1st year of the department's work program have been reviewed each year to ensure required designation has been accomplished.

The primary purposes of the 2010 Designation Review are to:

1. Obtain updated data for adopted SIS and Emerging SIS designation criteria;
2. Update the activity-level thresholds based on national activity levels;
3. Fully implement eSIS for designation purposes; and
4. Update designation documentation to reflect eSIS designation processes.
