This Web page will be used to provide information and resources regarding how transportation facilities and services in Florida impact air quality. A helpful glossary of related terms is maintained by the Federal Highway Administration.

- September 2011 - The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a letter regarding the Implementation of the Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard. The Letter includes initial area designations for the United States.
- August 2010 - The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a Proposed Rule to amend the transportation conformity rule. The August 13, 2010 Federal Register includes the proposed rule.

Our Partners
Other organizations and agencies are involved in helping keep Florida's air clean. They include:
- Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) - DEP's Division of Air Resource Management helps protect, conserve and restore Florida's air, with the goal of protecting the health of Florida's residents.
- Florida Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council (MPOAC) - the MPOAC is a statewide organization assisting Florida's 26 metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) in carrying out the urbanized area transportation planning process.
- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - EPA's Office of Transportation and Air Quality and Office of Air and Radiation develop national programs, technical policies, and regulations for controlling air pollution and radiation exposure.
- Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) / Florida Division - FHWA's Air Quality Team provides technical assistance, technology deployment and training in the field of transportation and air quality.
- Federal Transit Administration (FTA) - FTA has information on Transit's Role in Environmental Sustainability including improving air quality.
