Eller Drive Overpass at Port Everglades

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in partnership with the Broward County, Florida Port Everglades Department (Port Everglades) submitted an application for Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) Grant funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

The proposal, the Eller Drive Overpass project, will greatly enhance intermodal connectivity at Port Everglades, the 3rd largest cruise port in the world and the 11th largest container port in America. The project is a critical link in the development of on-port rail and intermodal containerized transfer facilities that will greatly enhance Florida's economic competiveness and create new jobs.
