Value Engineering (VE)

Value Engineering is the systematic application of function-oriented techniques by a multi-disciplined team to analyze and improve the value of a product, facility, system, or service. The Project Management Office provides direction and technical assistance to the Districts in the administration of the Value Engineering program.

Mission:
Administer the Florida Department of Transportation Value Engineering Program, satisfying the needs of all stakeholders

Vision:
Value Engineering ... providing an effective support function which maximizes project and process value for the transportation systems in the State of Florida.
