Electronic Review Comment (ERC) -
ERC is an application used to track the entire review process (comments
and responses) for plan reviews and project submittals in a database.
All comments and responses reside in one location allowing any user easy
access to all or partial review data on demand. The system allows
Project Managers to easily track all comments and responses from all
Reviewers and Consultants at anytime during the process.
Local Agency Program (LAP)
- Process Review and Quality Assurance for projects administered through
the Local Agency Program (LAP) are the responsibility of the
LAP Project Review Section. They provide technical guidance to aid
in the LAP project development process. They coordinate the process
review efforts of the statewide Local Agency Program Community of
Practice (LAP
CoP) group. The items discussed by the LAP CoP typically address
district staff and local partner inquiries that are related to the
technical aspects of LAP project development. A summary of the findings
of the LAP CoP are compiled into topic specific "Asked and Answered"
documents
(A & A Sheets) which are posted to the LAP Project Review web pages.
Project Review -
Project Review is responsible for processing all Central Office let
PS&E packages before they are sent to the Contracts Administration
Office. Through comprehensive reviews, feedback is provided to the
Districts in an effort to improve the Quality of future packages.
Value Engineering (VE) Program - Value Engineering is the
systematic application of function-oriented techniques by a
multi-disciplined team to analyze and improve the value of a product,
facility, system, or service. The Project Review Office provides
direction and technical assistance to the Districts in the
administration of the Value Engineering program.
Cost
Savings Initiative (CSI) Program - Offers contractors an
opportunity to demonstrate their ingenuity and innovation. The
contractor can be rewarded for this ingenuity and innovation, by
submitting proposals that contribute to the cost effectiveness of a
project.
Any project savings generated from an approved CSI is shared
between the contractor and the Department.
