Florida's Highway Beautification Programs

It shall be the policy of the state to conserve and protect its natural resources and scenic beauty.  

Article II, section 7(a), Florida Constitution

The department shall have the powers and duties to provide for the conservation of natural roadside growth and scenery and for the implementation and maintenance of roadside beautification programs.
