1.4.2 - Connect to Data
Step Description:
To bring the data into the drawing we can use the Data Shortcuts that have been created. Just make sure you are set to the correct project.

Create Pipe Network (WMV)
- Under Data Shortcuts, expand out Surfaces and select the desired surface. Right click and select Create Reference. You can change the style and then click OK.
- Next, expand out Alignments and select the alignment. Right click and select Create Reference. Click OK.
- Then expand out Pipe Network. You will have to Create References to each Pipe Network and select the reference surface and alignment in the dialog box. Doing this gives you the ability to label stations and offsets on a pipe and label elevation information based on existing ground. You can also choose to tie in proposed pipes to existing pipes.
