1.4.1 - Open New File
Step Description:
Open Civil 3D 2012 from the FDOT2012.C3D folder if it is not already open.
Run the Create File tool from the FDOT Toolbar.
Note: Make sure the Coordinate System for the drawing is set correctly by right clicking on the filename in the Settings Toolspace and select Edit Drawing Settings.

Create Pipe Network (WMV)
Run the Create File tool from the FDOT Toolbar.
- Make sure all the settings are set to the current project and select Drainage Design Files in the File Group.
- Then select the Drainage Structures XSections Pattern Lines & Shapes in the File Type.
- Select the Create button to accept the default filename. Then Open the file.
Note: Make sure the Coordinate System for the drawing is set correctly by right clicking on the filename in the Settings Toolspace and select Edit Drawing Settings.
