1.1.1 - LandXMLGrouper Tool
Step Description:
Launch the LandXMLGrouper Tool which is part of the Florida DOT State Kit and located in the FDOT2012.C3D Folder.

Click on the File dropdown and select Open to navigate to the LandXML file which contains the Existing Pipe Network.


Create Group for Existing Pipe Network Image


Create a Group based on the Existing Pipe Network (Drainage or Utilities) by right-clicking then selecting the Create Group option. This will create the group folder of the existing pipe network and all the pipes associated to that group.


Export Pipe Network XML Image


Create a new LandXML file from the Existing Pipe Network Groups by highlighting the desired group and clicking File>Save As. Save the file to the Survey folder of the project. Name the file so it is associated to the project name with Pipe Network as a suffix (ex. 15502_ExistingDrainagePipeNetwork.xml) to be easily identified.


Save LandXML Group Data Image


Close the LandXMLGroup Tool.
