1.4.1 - Create Surface from Corridor
Step Description:
Next you will create surface(s) from the Existing Features created from the corridor.

To create Corridor Surface(s):
  • Select the corridor in the drawing
  • In the Contextual Ribbon select Corridor Surfaces.

  • Select the Create a Corridor Surface button.
  • Rename the surface (e.g. Existing Pavement)
  • Select a Surface Style. If you do not want to show the surface, select _No Display. Toggle ON Add as Breakline.
  • Select the desired Data Type (Links or Feature Lines) and Code (e.g. ExistingPavement, ExistingSidewalk, etc.)
  • Click the Plus button to add the data to the surface.
  • Repeat this for each separate surface you wish to create.

To add Surface Boundary(s):
  • Select the Boundaries tab.
  • Right-click the surface to create a boundary.
  • Generally you should select Add Automatically.
  • Select the desired feature line to use as the boundary (e.g. ExistingPavement).
  • Click OK when finished.
