1.4.4 - Share the Alignment Data
Step Description:
So that others can reference this alignment in different drawings a Data Shortcut must be created. To create this Data Shortcut go to the Prospector Tab and scroll down to the Data Shortcuts location.

Note: If this is the first time creating or using Data Shortcuts, set the Working folder to your projects directory and then set the Data Shortcuts Project Folder to the current project you are working on. To access these commands, right click on the Data Shortcuts option in the Prospector.

To share the alignment data, right click on Data Shortcuts and select Create Data Shortcuts. In the Create Data Shortcuts dialog box select the alignment(s) to share and click OK.

Note: To use this shared alignment in another drawing, right click on the shared alignment under Data Shortcuts in the Prospector and select Create Reference. Set the desired Styles and Settings for how the alignment should display and click OK.
