1.4.3 - Import the Alignment Data
Step Description:
First, verify that the units of the LandXML file are correct. To do this, open the LandXML file in Notepad and verify that the linear units are set to US Survey Foot. Close the file when you have verified the units.
Next, import the data by going to the Insert Ribbon and selecting the Import LandXML command from the Import Panel.
Select the LandXML file that was created earlier and click Open and then OK.
The alignment will be imported with all the intelligent data and should match the Geopak data. To be sure, verify the station data and coordinate data match in both Civil 3D and Geopak.
