1.4.1 - Export the Geopak Alignment
Step Description:
Open Microstation Geopak and verify the alignment data is correct.
To export the alignment data open the Graphical Coordinate Geometry command. To run this command, go to Applications>GEOPAK>ROAD>Geometry>Graphical Coordinate Geometry.
Click OK on the initial box that will already have the Project Name filled in.
In the Coordinate Geometry box go to the File>Export>LandXML 1.2 Geometry command to start the export process.
In the Export LandXML 1.2 command, set the folder location and file name for the LandXML file. Then select the Chain(s) that you need to export and finally, click the Export button.
Note: You may close Microstation at this time, however you may want to leave it open in order to verify the data is correct after importing the alignment in Civil 3D.

Import Geopak Alignment (WMV)
To export the alignment data open the Graphical Coordinate Geometry command. To run this command, go to Applications>GEOPAK>ROAD>Geometry>Graphical Coordinate Geometry.

In the Coordinate Geometry box go to the File>Export>LandXML 1.2 Geometry command to start the export process.
In the Export LandXML 1.2 command, set the folder location and file name for the LandXML file. Then select the Chain(s) that you need to export and finally, click the Export button.
Note: You may close Microstation at this time, however you may want to leave it open in order to verify the data is correct after importing the alignment in Civil 3D.
