1.3.4 - Clean Up and Insert the Point Data
Step Description:
Clean up the data so only the necessary points are inserted into the drawing.
In the Survey Toolspace, right click on Survey Points within your new survey database. Expand out the Points option and run the Edit Points Command.

Sort the data by Elevation. You will want to delete all of the data that has an elevation of zero or less. To do this select all of the points that fit into that category by selecting the first point and then holding Shift and selecting the last point with an elevation of zero. Then right click and select Delete. Click the Save button in the Panarama so the database reflects that those points have been deleted.

Then sort the points by Description to delete all of the Monumentation points. Remember to save after deleting the points. Click the check box in the upper right corner when complete.

Next, insert the points into the drawing.
In the Survey Toolspace, right click on Survey Points, expand the Points option and select Insert into drawing.

Review the points and label them as necessary.
