3.2.1 - Bring Survey Points into C3D workspace
Step Description:

  • Survey toolspace > Survey Databases > expand [survey database name] >right-click Survey Points > Points > Insert into drawing

NOTE: In the Survey toolspace there are no attributes to tell whether the survey points are ground shots or not, therefore, the survey points must be brought into the C3D workspace. The C3D workspace tools can be utilized to determine the ground shots. Also, in order for survey points to be inserted into the drawing a survey database must be imported.
  • Prospector toolspace > expand Point Groups

The survey points will now be listed within the default point groups in the C3D workspace.
