2.4.4 - Add additional segments to a figure

Step Description:

• In the drawing select the figure for which the segment will be added
• Right-click figure > Edit Survey Figure Properties.

• In the Figure Properties dialog use the Zoom options to locate the point where a segment will be added/deleted.
• Highlight the point nearest the point being added.

• From here select either the Insert before Vertex icon or the Insert after Vertex icon.

To set the location of the new endpoint.

• Select the arrow button in the Number column to digitize the point in the drawing.

NOTE: If the location of the digitized point is close to a point in the survey database, Civil 3D will automatically snap to that point and pick up the points attributes.
