2.4.2 - Edit Figures

Step Description:

Editing Figure Layer

• Select the figure to be edited.
• Right-click > Edit Survey Figure Properties

In the Figure Properties dialog the figure type can be changed by modifying the layer and entering the corresponding chain.code in the LandXML region.

Joining two figures

NOTE: Before joining two figures they must be traveling in the same direction.

To determine the direction of flow.

• Select a figure in the drawing
• Right-click > Edit Survey Figure Properties
• Choose one of the Zoom options in the Edit Survey Figure Properties dialog.

• The flow of the figure will be displayed in the drawing.

To reverse the flow of the figure

• Select the Reverse direction icon in the Edit Survey Figure Properties dialog box.

Joining Two Figures

• Begin by selecting the primary figure.
• Right-click > Edit Survey Figure Properties.
• In the Edit Survey Figure Properties dialog select the Join icon.
• Select the secondary figure to be joined.
