2.3.2 - Create New Survey Point Group

Step Description:

• In the Survey Toolspace right-click Survey Point Groups > New.

• In the New Survey Point Group dialog, input [point group name] specific to the type of point group being created and a brief description of the points included in the point group.

• In the New Survey Point Group dialog highlight the points that will make up the point group.

HINT: Use the SHIFT or CTRL key to highlight multiple points.

• If multiple selections are made right-click the Add to Group column > Edit > Yes > OK. If only one figure is to be added simply change the toggle to Yes.

• The points will be assigned to the new point group.
• To view the point group right-click desired point group > select Insert into drawing.

NOTE: For the point group to be displayed with the correct symbology, styles, descriptions, etc... the correct drawing template (fdotmaster.dwt) must be utilized.
