2.3.1 - Add New Figure Group

Step Description:

• In the Survey Toolspace right-click Figure Groups > New.

Select New Image

• In the New Figure Group dialog input [figure group name] specific to the type of group being created and a brief description of the figures included in the figure group.
• In the New Figure Group dialog highlight the figures that will make up the figure group.

HINT: Use the SHIFT or CTRL key to highlight multiple figures.

• If multiple selections are made right-click the Add to Group column > Edit > Yes > OK. If only one figure is to be added simply change the toggle to Yes.

• The new figure group will appear underneath Figure Groups in the Survey Toolspace.
• To view the figure group right-click [figure group name] > Insert into drawing.

NOTE: For the figure group to be displayed with the correct symbology, line styles, line types, etc... the correct drawing template (fdotmaster.dwt) must be utilized.

NOTE: Before creating a figure group a file must be imported into the survey database.
