For the new MicroStation user, this hands-on course builds on the concepts taught in the
FDOT
MicroStation Essentials – Part I course and introduces additional tools and features used to
create and edit 2D designs. Beginning with an overview of FDOT MicroStation Essentials –
Part I course and concluding with design history, the participant is walked through a typical
workflow using the tools and features of MicroStation. Interspersed throughout are real-world
design problems solved using the concepts learned up to that point in the course. Various
engineering disciplines are represented in the form of hands-on exercises.
