Quality Assessment

Picture of a Florida Roadway

Quality is an important issue for District One Construction. The District expects quality construction from the contractors, quality inspection and reporting from the inspection staff and quality management from all levels of contract administration. To this end, the District has adopted the Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM) as the model for its Quality Assessment Program. CPAM Chapter 5.9, as revised, will guide the performance of the Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) staff, incorporating the Statewide Inspection Guide lists into reviews by the District Construction Office. In addition, customized District One Critical Requirements or checklists have been developed in specialized areas. Frequency of process reviews will follow the District One Frequency Table for all categories of Quality Assessment. Documentation will follow the guidance provided in CPAM. Specialized training will be developed and implemented as the need arises.  Contacts in the District Construction Office with questions about the District One QA Program are Earl Taylor and Marshall Douberley.
