Design-build (DB) combines into a single contract the design, construction, and in certain cases such as P3 projects, construction engineering and inspection and acceptance requirements for a project, all in accordance with standard Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) criteria (if applicable), specifications (if applicable), and contract administration practices.
