Design-build (DB) combines into a single contract the design, construction, and in certain cases such as P3 projects, construction engineering and inspection and acceptance requirements for a project, all in accordance with standard Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) criteria (if applicable), specifications (if applicable), and contract administration practices. These projects allow the contractor to participate in the design in an effort to reduce costs and expedite construction The information contained on this page is provided to assist Contractors and Consultants with locating details on Design-Build projects.  Many of the hyperlinks will take you to an area maintained by either a District Contracts Administration Office, the Contracts Administration Office in Tallahassee, or the Procurement Office.
