B.   Detailed Steps for Access to Pavement Management Office Information Reports

PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT OFFICE INFORMATION REPORTS

Pavement performance data from 1976 to 2001 is available on the Pavement Management Web Site. The web site contains the same information that is in the printouts we distributed and discussed at a previous asphalt pavement warranty meeting.

By industry request, we have recently added an additional report by district that is sorted in contractor alphabetical order.

The reports can be accessed as follows:

Enter the MyFlorida web address: www.myflorida.com
select "Transportation"
select "Pavement Management"
select "Reports"
from the "District Reports by Contractor" table, select the district of interest

This will bring up an Adobe document with all the State Highway System sections with identified previous contractors for the selected district. They are sorted alphabetically by contractor, then by RDWYID (county/section/subsection) and milepost.

The state road number and US road number are listed below the RDWYID.

The next line shows the name and milepost of the nearest road intersection to the beginning of the section.

The next line shows the Work Program Item/segment number of the previous project on the section.

The next line shows the name of the contractor for the previous project.

Any future programmed projects are shown on the next line.

There is some additional section information shown to the right, and then the pavement performance data showing the cracking, ride and rutting are stacked to the right, with years 1976-1988 shown above 1989-2001. Future condition forecasts for 2006 are also shown.

Detailed information on how the survey is conducted is available in the Flexible Pavement Condition Survey Handbook, which is also available on the web under the State Materials Office>Pavement Evaluation.
