Operations - Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)

Section 316.0745, Florida Statutes, mandates the Department of Transportation compile and publish a manual of uniform traffic control devices which defines a uniform system. To comply with this statute, the Department has adopted the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) by Rule 14-15.010, F.A.C. which states:

The Federal Highway Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 2009 Edition is hereby adopted by this rule and made a part of the rules of the Department of Transportation.
