The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Web site first went
online January 18, 1996. Since then, it has received two prestigious awards:
- In 1998, it was selected as Best
of the Web in a national contest for state and local government sites.
- In 1996, it received the
 award.
FDOT's Web site is administered by the Central Public Information Office and the Office
of Information Systems. Any references to commercial products within our site do not
