Working with our counterparts in the seven districts and Turnpike Enterprise, our office provides internal consultation to senior management on all matters related to the administration, implementation and continuous improvement of the FDOT Business Model and the Training and Development functions of the department.
The Performance Management Office, located at the department's central headquarters in Tallahassee, develops policy, procedures, and standards to carry out senior management direction. We administer the department’s business plan, coordinate the champion network, work with the performance measurement system, administer and analyze the annual employee survey, and administer the Quality Assurance/Quality Control process.
In Training and Development we develop and administer the department’s annual and long-range training plans. We assess, design, deliver, evaluate and coordinate training academies, stand-alone sessions, workshops, and seminars in various modes, forms, and formats in support of the department’s mission and to develop the full potential of all employees.
Performance Management publishes the department’s performance management newsletter, internet, and intranet sites to communicate, educate and inform employees, customers and stakeholders about the FDOT Business Model, Training and Development, and related topics.
